Gold crusted baguette key rings- PAIR
- Metalgold plated silver
- Size
Solid sterling silver baguette halves with a 9ct gold crust. These are made for friends and lovers, ones you want to break bread with. They come as a pair, as a set- one baguette broken into two.
A keyring is a quiet signifier of responsibility. I remember being gifted a crystal rabbit key ring as a child before even ever needing keys. It was a plastic rabbit with facets all over it, hence my belief- at the time- and memory of it being crystal..
I looked forward to the day I would have my very own key to use it with, and treasured my plastic rabbit until then. My first keys would've been for my first car as we never had house keys growing up in Blenheim and with that key ring came my first car and responsibility.
As an adult, I now have multiple keys. These keys are with me all the time and with these keys is a special silver key ring from my mother that I think we four kids each have- that would be the only fair way. My rabbit eventually suffered a few broken limbs, which is likely when I discovered it was plastic not Swarovski crystal.
So why not accompany our clusters of very necessary and responsible keys with a precious gold crusted baguette.
Please note: All joins have been soldered. These have a gold-plated finish for heavy wear, though not invincible so may wear over time depending on how well it is used. I offer re-plating, so when the time for a new crust arises, please get in touch.

Care
Care
As with all things, please take care with your ZM pieces.
Each piece I create is made to be worn- not just on quiet days, but through the motions of a well lived life and while jewellery is durable it is also precious. It deserves both adventure and care. Once a piece leaves my studio, it enters its own chapter- one shaped by your daily rhythms, gestures and environment. Caring for jewellery isn’t about keeping it immaculate. It’s about respecting its material nature while allowing it to live with you. The best loved pieces often show signs of wear, and that is not a flaw. It’s characther and a story.
